The woven dishes baskets are purchased under Fair Trade conditions directly from the women who weave them. All baskets are handmade and may therefore vary slightly in size. Background: Our baskets are carefully handcrafted by women from the Thies region, approximately 122 km north of Dakar in Senegal. These women work hard to support their families by either
